By default, contracts on FreelanceTracker.ai operate on an automated weekly payment system, where clients are automatically charged at the end of each week for work completed during that period. However, we recognize that some freelancers may prefer a more flexible payment arrangement. With Manual Payment Mode, you can disable the automatic payment system, allowing you and your client to agree on a customized payment schedule.
How Does Manual Payment Mode Work?
When you enable Manual Payment Mode, the automatic weekly billing is turned off. Instead, you and your client can establish a payment schedule that suits the project’s milestones or any other agreed-upon arrangement. In this mode, you will manually track your billable hours or completed tasks, and the client will initiate payments accordingly based on the agreed timeline.
How to Enable Manual Payment Mode?
Enabling Manual Payment Mode is simple:
- Go to the Contract Details page for the specific project.
- Click the Edit Contract option.
- In the Payment Settings section, choose Manual Payment Mode.
Save the changes.
